Ecological Sustainability
Ecological sustainability is one of the cornerstones of sustainable development in tourism, especially when tourism relies heavily on nature and the utilisation of natural resources. In ecologically sustainable tourism, the tourism services that are based on nature must be produced in an environmentally friendly manner, preserving nature’s biodiversity and minimising the negative impact of tourism and changes caused by it to the least extent possible. Responsible tourists leave no traces of their visit in nature. Responsible visitors’ traces are in their memories or memory cards. The memory traces in their cameras have left no living being in nature disturbed, frightened or destroyed.
